Join us and see what ghost hunting is all about. This is your chance to have a go at Dowsing for Spirits, Table Tipping, Glass Divination, Psychometry, Scrying and a chance to just sit in the dark in an unseen area – if you dare!
These buildings have a long history as it was originally built around 1840 as The Union Workhouse, it then became a hospital during the war, then a care home and Council Offices before being handed over one building at a time as a Community Centre. So it has a lot of history and a lot of stories to tell!
The Tea Room will also be opening specially for the night, offering mugs of hot soup, cake and refreshments.

All the money raised from these two events will be going towards repairing a Central Heating Boiler at The Centre. The Centre is completely self funding and receives no money from the Council or Government.
Don’t forget to pass on your feedback from the event to The Centre, you never know, The Nightwalkers might be persuaded to do a few more!
